Judy and I were working away on day 4 of her trip to the east coast to work on the jacket. Judy has become amazingly proficient with the plaited braid and has figured out many ways to make it look better when getting into those funny little areas like tapers. We have been busy photographing her tricks so I can write them up for the blog. The biggest trick is a set of tweezers. Don’t run out to the medicine cabinet yet – I will post a photo of her fun tweezers so you can get the right pair.
Tomorrow we are being joined by a second stitcher who is local and will work on the coif. More pictures of our progress in a few days. My next post will be about some of the stitch tricks we have found.
I have gotten a few questions on sessions. Yes we are still going to be stitching at Plimoth in the Wardrobe Department. Our session on March 27th is on as planned. We have nine spots spoken for and can accommodate another 4-5 individuals. Email me at tricia@alum.mit.edu if you have an interest in joining us.
